Retreat
Find yourself in awe for 10 days in Sri Lanka.
Some places call you before you understand why. Sri Lanka is one of them.
Feel the tropical warmth on your skin. Breathe in a scent that is different – one you recognise the moment it reaches you. Listen to the palm leaves moving in the wind. To the sounds of wildlife all around you. To the waves of the ocean in the distance. And sit with the awe as you notice.

Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is for anyone longing to feel alive again — to step out of the everyday and back into wonder. It’s for you if you find rest in nature, if green hills and open sea settle something in you, and if you’re curious about the world and the many ways of living in it.
No yoga or meditation experience is needed — the gentle daily practice simply supports the journey and is open to all levels. What matters here isn’t doing, but being present: slowing down, looking closely, and letting yourself be moved.
It’s a journey for those who want to travel slowly and feel deeply — and whether you come alone or with someone, the small group brings closeness and connection while leaving plenty of space for yourself.
Ten days of mindful travel through Sri Lanka — a slow journey across the island, place by place. An invitation to slow down, arrive, and experience the island’s beauty with all your senses. We don’t rush. We move from cultural landscapes through lush tea hills to the open sea, letting each destination reveal itself in its own time.
This retreat is about coming back into wonder and meeting another way of life with open, curious eyes — travel not as ticking off sights, but as consciously arriving in the moment. Nothing to achieve, nothing to accomplish. Simply be present, breathe, and let the journey carry you. The outer journey becomes a path inward.
Each day is gently held by our practice. Mornings open with gentle movement to awaken the body, while stillness and the breath bring clarity and calm — suitable for all, no experience needed, only a willingness to be present. The practice isn’t the main event; it’s a gentle companion, helping you arrive in your body and breath and carry that calm through each day.
Day 1 — Arrival
Welcome and a relaxed drive to our first home. Settling in, lunch, and quiet time by the pool. As evening falls, we come together for a welcome circle, followed by dinner.
Day 2 — Culture & Nature
Gentle morning movement and breakfast. The day brings cultural and natural highlights of the area, along with a safari into the wild. We close the evening with a quiet ritual together.
Day 3 — Ascent & Ayurveda
An early hike before the heat and the crowds. In the afternoon, an Ayurvedic full-body massage, then rest, pool, and wide-open views — and an unhurried end to the day.
Day 4 — Onward & Arriving
A gentle morning practice, then a drive to our next home with a cultural stop along the way. Time to settle into new surroundings and explore the life of the town.
Day 5 — Temples & a Slow Afternoon
Morning movement and breakfast, then a visit among special historic sites. The afternoon is yours — to take in the place, local life, and its everyday rhythms at ease.
Day 6 — Through the Tea Landscape
A morning temple ceremony, then a drive through lush rolling hills with a stop to taste the local tea. We arrive to dinner with a view and gather as the day closes.
Day 7 — A Slow Day in the Hills
Mindful morning movement with the hills spread out before us. A hike to a breathtaking vantage point, then walks, rest, and simply being.
Day 8 — Onward to the Sea
Gentle morning practice, then a drive toward the coast with scenic and cultural stops, and a stroll through a charming historic old town. Arriving at the sea — sand underfoot, salt in the air, and a deep breath.
Day 9 — A Full Day by the Ocean
Gentle morning movement on the beach. The day holds time by the sea — swimming, walking, resting — along with an activity we’ll share together. Dinner together, and a quiet close.
Day 10 — Final Day & Closing Circle
A final morning practice by the sea, then time to enjoy the coast, with a closing activity to round off our days together. A farewell dinner, and a closing circle to hold all we’ve shared.
Day 11 — Departure

Sri Lankan cuisine is incredibly rich in flavour without needing meat — but of course, you eat what feels right for you.

Your guides
I met Nishan, a local guide with over fifteen years of experience in Sri Lanka, in January 2026.
I travelled with him across the island, and from the very first day I felt how much care he puts into his work — everything was thoughtfully planned and beautifully organised, so I could simply fall into awe for this magnificent country. I returned in May, and I’ll be back in October. It was through these journeys that the idea was born — to take you with me on a journey of wonder.
His deep knowledge, his warmth, and his love for his homeland are what make this trip what it is. While I hold the inner space of our retreat, Nishan opens the door to Sri Lanka — its landscapes, its culture, and its quiet, everyday magic.
After you register, you’ll receive detailed information about our time together.
